Just curious of these 940. I just dropped by a car showroom where they have this 940GL model 1991 with B230E engine. Does 940 comes with B230E? Thinking of getting it for cheap, but so sorry that I cannot take this car for the offered price is just not reasonable at all given the condition of the car that have been parked and unused for about a year. Just sharing some pictures.

You'd be surprised an old Volvo would start right away for many2 years, like those classic 144, 122, or even the 240, I heard people just change the spark plugs, contact points and such and the car will fire right up..! That's Volvo quality right there.

thanks for the visit... yeah.. i personally helped a friend with bad start engine after 2years of not running... spark plugs changed and it start fine :)
Hi there..! Came across your great page while looking up the adjustments for the 940. Just bought the 940 auto for my dad last year and got fried because he wanted something manual. It's an EZ-116K injection rather than the pics' Bosch K-Jet type (which I'm more familiar with). BTW, how much was the car retailing for..? I'm actually thinking about reverting back to the old 244GL. Had one years ago, but dad made the mistake of selling it off for the 240GL, which was a good car, but traded in for the 740 2 years later. Guess I'll have to let the 940 off since dad injured his legs in February. I don't surf that much and can be contacted at : wtwong@oac.com.my
